    They that sow in tears: music and faith in the Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648).” David Miller, violone, with Matthew Hall, keyboards; Zoe Weiss, viols; guests Ryaan Ahmed, theorbo; Anna Marsh, bassoon; and vocalists Julia Cavallaro, Claire Raphaelson, Scott Mello, and David Tinervia. Features music by Heinrich Schütz and Johann Hermann Schein, as well as organ improvisations and contemporaneous texts. Funded in part by the Cornell Council for the Arts and the Institute for German Cultural Studies.
