Schütz Project “They that sow in tears: music and faith in the Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648).” David Miller, violone, with Matthew Hall, keyboards; Zoe Weiss, viols; guests Ryaan Ahmed, theorbo; Anna Marsh, bassoon; and vocalists Julia Cavallaro, Claire Raphaelson, Scott Mello, and David Tinervia. Features music by Heinrich Schütz and Johann Hermann Schein, as well as organ improvisations and contemporaneous texts.
